Emergencies happen, and when they do the dentists at Rosedale are here to help. Those who are experiencing dental emergencies are given priority. Although recognizing a dental emergency can be difficult at times, contact us as soon as possible if you are experiencing the following conditions for consultation and treatment:

• Swelling and/ or hypersensitivity to heat: this may be a sign of infection and should be treated immediately. Contact the Rosedale dentists if the sensitivity is accompanied by pain, swelling or pus as well as if you experience sudden and severe swelling as these can be symptoms of oral infection.
• Knocked out/ Broken tooth: Apply pressure with a cold compress to control the bleeding or swelling. Place the tooth in either the socket or a glass of milk and try to come to our office within 30 minutes, as the tooth can be saved within this time period!
